Martial Pasquier - Vice Rector "Human Ressources and Finance"

Martial Pasquier, 53, is responsible for finance and human resources. He was already involved in both areas in his role as director of the Graduate Institute of Public Administration.

"The multi-faceted aspect of my current position interests me enormously. The areas I am responsible for cover all faculties and all departments, each of which has its own particular characteristics."

"The aspect that particularly motivates the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration is the managerial activities of institutions. "I am a professor in public-sector management, so my role aligns well with what I have taught and achieved to date."

In particular, Martial Pasquier is keen to encourage synergies between the various UNIL entities. But that’s not all. "We also need to continue developing interactions with our immediate environment. Sharing knowledge within the university but also all our academic and non-academic partners is fundamental."
